I used sun state pools to resurface my 24 year old in ground swimming pool. From the estimate I was given by Troy freese.To the different workers that came by to do the work and to my supervisor taylor who did a fantastic job, and all the office people that set up appointments, picking colors of tile , and making sure billing was correct I thank you all for your hard honest work to make this all come together. The pool is I believe finished above and beyond basic standards. I've had numerous compliments. I've already had people taken sun states phone number to have work done by sun state. One thing I do is make sure I have plenty of different drinks and food and chips available for everyone working. It's my way of saying thank you to all. I believe I got a great warranty if anything arises in the future. I don't have a bad word at all to say about this company. Definitely an A plus company to work with. Honesty and cleanliness were never compromised from them here each day. They make sure their contract is followed by the book. No cutting of corners or substituting cheapness. I took 4 months getting different company's to quote the work. Apples to apples sun state was the best priced quote with the most knowledge to all my questions. Really pleased with Sun State’s work on my pool. My project was a full Chip-out and remodel. They worked around my odd travel schedule and completed the project on time and on budget. And of the 3 quotes I received, they were the most responsive and least expensive. Would recommend you reach out to Sun State before committing to anyone else.

After researching several companies to replace the plaster on my pool, I selected Sun State Pools. Sun State offered good warranties and their prices were competitive.

We recently engaged Sun State Pools to refurbish our backyard walkway and pad. The team was not only on-time over the two days it took to complete the job. The project superintendent(Chris) was fully engaged in ensuring that all aspects of the project were completed as per the proposal work plan. Chris also returned to ensure that we were pleased with the work, as we were! We are also meeting with Troy next week to get a proposal for more similar work!

Let me start off by saying that looking for a resurfacing of our pool was scary. We had no knowledge of what to expect as far as cost. Luckily, we ran into a few great people at Sun State. I believe Ricky was the first guy that came out. He was thorough with his explanations and gave us pros and cons of the different options. Once we agreed to move forward, we were handed off to Taylor. Ricky set the bar high, but Taylor pole vaulted over that bar. I can be quite meticulous, but Taylor was patient, answered every call that he received, and every question that I had. I sometimes thought that he was too honest, but it was genuine. We are extremely satisfied with the end product as of right now, and we did appreciate the level of service that was rendered.

I had a fairly small but tricky pool deck area that needed replacing with travertine tile. Jason and the crew did a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

We remodeled our pool and patio with Sunstate pools. Can’t say enough great things about them from start to finish. Most affordable and quality work was amazing. After obtaining 10 quotes for our pool project I picked Sun State Pools. I don't regret it. We had to get our pool resurfaced and added a baja step. The end product is great. The pool looks great and we are excited to have the baja step and a nice looking pool. I would pick them again if I ever needed to. One thing I would do differently is to remove the pop ups after the pool is drained and before the company begins the chipping out the old pebble. I believe that would have saved me some pop ups. The 4 stars is because I would prefer better communication. Our superintendent, Paul, I believe, was new to the company so he was dealing with a learning curve. It all worked out and Paul has a personality that made it easy to work with.
