Chris and the entire team at Sun State pools did a great job. They stayed on top of everything and did everything in their power to stay on schedule. My pool never looked so good!

Buyer Beware. Do Not Use this Company.
We have been dealing with these people since May and our project goes unfinished We have a newly installed pool heater that is inoperable and a waterfall patch that is unfinished.
They had to blast our pebble tech twice and cracked tile.
They don't answer phones or emails, text.
I have changed my review they have made good on their promises to finish my pool
My final project looks good
Jason and subs have all been nice

Sun State Pools gave our residential pool a complete upgrade. The kids love swimming now and family nights by the pool are special.

UPDATE: Mike the owner contacted us right after my review posted and brought in his A-team, Chris and Jason, to not only solve the current popup issues, but went above and beyond to surprise and delight us with some newer pipes and equipment to improve the pool operation. Thanks again for stepping up, Mike and appreciate you resolving our issues so quickly.
ORIGINAL POST: Worst company ever! At first everything seemed to go smoothly for our pool refinishing project. Then, when the work was to start, there were scheduling errors (people showed up to do work on days that we didn’t expect). When they drained our pool, they forgot to turn the autofill off so it was draining and filling at the same time. Then after resurfacing and whitewash, it took forever to get the pop-ups installed so our estimated 6 week project took more like 13 weeks. And now six months later, the pop ups aren’t turning as they should and leaving stains all over our newly resurfaced pool. Trying to get someone to come out and repair them (under warranty) seems impossible…They no showed on our appointment today, nobody is answering phones or returning emails or returning calls. AVOID AT COSTS! I’m floored they are still in business!

Very pleased with the quality of work. Our pool is 31 years old and Sun State removed the existing pebble tec and installed new mini pebble tec. It looks amazing. Our sales person was Matt and he was very thorough in explaining the process and personable. Our project manager was Anton and he communicated throughout the process to keep us informed and to verify everything was completed according to our contract. I would highly recommend Sun State Pools.
