I used sun state pools to resurface my 24 year old in ground swimming pool. From the estimate I was given by Troy freese.To the different workers that came by to do the work and to my supervisor taylor who did a fantastic job, and all the office people that set up appointments, picking colors of tile , and making sure billing was correct I thank you all for your hard honest work to make this all come together. The pool is I believe finished above and beyond basic standards. I've had numerous compliments. I've already had people taken sun states phone number to have work done by sun state. One thing I do is make sure I have plenty of different drinks and food and chips available for everyone working. It's my way of saying thank you to all. I believe I got a great warranty if anything arises in the future. I don't have a bad word at all to say about this company. Definitely an A plus company to work with. Honesty and cleanliness were never compromised from them here each day. They make sure their contract is followed by the book. No cutting of corners or substituting cheapness. I took 4 months getting different company's to quote the work. Apples to apples sun state was the best priced quote with the most knowledge to all my questions. Really pleased with Sun State’s work on my pool. My project was a full Chip-out and remodel. They worked around my odd travel schedule and completed the project on time and on budget. And of the 3 quotes I received, they were the most responsive and least expensive. Would recommend you reach out to Sun State before committing to anyone else.

We came from a horrible experience from a previous pool company who left our pool half done. We were a little worried about starting this process again due to past experiences. But we decided to try again with Sun State Pools.

We recently engaged Sun State Pools to refurbish our backyard walkway and pad. The team was not only on-time over the two days it took to complete the job. The project superintendent(Chris) was fully engaged in ensuring that all aspects of the project were completed as per the proposal work plan. Chris also returned to ensure that we were pleased with the work, as we were! We are also meeting with Troy next week to get a proposal for more similar work!

Let me start off by saying that looking for a resurfacing of our pool was scary. We had no knowledge of what to expect as far as cost. Luckily, we ran into a few great people at Sun State. I believe Ricky was the first guy that came out. He was thorough with his explanations and gave us pros and cons of the different options. Once we agreed to move forward, we were handed off to Taylor. Ricky set the bar high, but Taylor pole vaulted over that bar. I can be quite meticulous, but Taylor was patient, answered every call that he received, and every question that I had. I sometimes thought that he was too honest, but it was genuine. We are extremely satisfied with the end product as of right now, and we did appreciate the level of service that was rendered.

I had a fairly small but tricky pool deck area that needed replacing with travertine tile. Jason and the crew did a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our experience with Sun State has been very positive up to this point. Troy is very knowledgeable and has been a pleasure to work with.

We remodeled our pool and patio with Sunstate pools. Can’t say enough great things about them from start to finish. Most affordable and quality work was amazing. Oz our contractor communicated each step with us from start to finish. Kept us informed all the way. Lots of company’s use subcontractors I think all workers were Sunstate. We got four quotes from other big company’s Sunstate was the most detailed 4 1/2 pages one company’s quote was a page and half. Great to use a local family business.

They did an awesome job on my poolwitj tile cleaning and acid wash. I had my kool decking totally redone. It looks amazing! The crews were timely, respectful, and cleaned up after each day. Ricky helped us think through the design process at our home and in the design center making sure all our questions were answered before starting. As soon as we got going Jason managed the project all the way through making sure all the small details were done right. I interviewed 5 companies before choosing Sun State Pools to resurface my pool deck/patio with Acrylic Lace Decking. I read positive reviews about the company, liked Ricky's straight forwardness, the price was reasonable and they offered the best warranty. The two man team who did the grinding off of the old surface, cleaning, texturizing and painting were hard working, polite and cleaned up everyday before they left. Matt, the supervisor, was on sight several times to check on the work and my satisfaction. I made a good choice and I recommend them.
